World's Best Bootcamp
AUTHOR

María de Benito Hernández

Writes the guides and programs on this site. The training advice in them is checked against published CDC and ACSM guidance, which is also the honest limit of what it is: careful reading of public sources, not clinical judgement.

What she does here

María writes the guides and the three programs on this site. That means the research, the drafting, and keeping the numbers on one page from contradicting the numbers on another: when the guide on building a circuit says a six-station session at 30/15 over three rounds runs fifteen minutes, the beginner program's own arithmetic has to agree, and when it doesn't, one of them is wrong and gets fixed.

Where the training advice comes from

Not from a clinic. The prescriptions here are checked against published public guidance rather than invented or drawn from personal practice: session frequency and muscle-strengthening coverage against the CDC's physical activity guidelines for adults, intensity bands and interval ratios against the American College of Sports Medicine's published definitions. Where the source gives a range, the page keeps the range. Where something depends on the individual, the page says so instead of inventing a number that sounds authoritative.

That is the whole method, and it is deliberately unglamorous. It also sets the limit: this is careful reading of public guidance, not clinical judgement.

What she is not

Not a physician, physiotherapist, or certified strength coach. Nothing on this site should be read as medical advice, and anything involving an injury, a pregnancy, or a diagnosed condition belongs with a clinician who can examine you, not with a training site that cannot. The about page lists the other things this site deliberately does not publish: supplement promotion, brand-name equipment affiliation, and transformation claims.

Corrections

If a number on this site disagrees with the source it claims to be checked against, that is a bug and worth an email: hello@worlds-best-bootcamp.com. Corrections get made and the page's date changes.
