World's Best Bootcamp
ABOUT

What this site is, and how the programs are built

Three self-led bootcamp programs and the guides that support them. No app, no subscription, no upsell at the end of an article.

The premise

Bootcamp-style training is circuit training: timed rounds of bodyweight strength and cardio moves with short rests. It's one of the few formats that needs no equipment, no gym, and no technique apprenticeship before the first session is useful. This site publishes three structured versions of it, a beginner circuit, a HIIT session, and an outdoor park circuit, plus guides covering the questions the programs raise: form, recovery, equipment, progression.

How the programs are constructed

Every prescription on this site is checked against published public guidance rather than invented: session frequency and muscle-strengthening coverage against the CDC's physical activity guidelines for adults, intensity bands against the American College of Sports Medicine's published heart-rate definitions, and interval ratios against ACSM's HIIT guidance. Where a number is a range in the source, it stays a range here; where something depends on the individual, fitness level, heat, recovery capacity, the page says so instead of pretending one number fits everyone.

The structural claims are conservative on purpose. The programs use ratios and formats that have been standard in circuit training since the format was developed in the 1950s: timed stations, work:rest intervals, regressions for every move. Nothing on this site is a proprietary method, and no page claims otherwise.

What we don't publish

The interval timer runs the three programs' exact work:rest schemes in the browser, free, no signup. If something on it breaks, email us.
